These books were created after having attended (in the fall of 2024) the placement of Stolpersteine stones for my great uncle and his two sons, Jews working in the resistance during WWII, who were ultimately caught and killed. They were relatives I did not know about, until an historian contacted me after having begun the process of applying for the stones. The Stolpersteine project is a remarkable worldwide project begun in 1992 by German artist, Gunter Demnig.
