I sketch every day. Often with my non-dominant hand. Usually in sketchbooks that I bind with blank pages and then fill up. I began sketching in ink and watercolor in 2013, and in 2018 I embarked on a daily sketch project creating a series of visual journals, that as of this writing in 2021 I am still pursuing. To date, I have not missed a day - not when I broke my dominant wrist, not when a pandemic hit, not when an eighty foot, 100+ year old oak tree fell through the roof of my house. It's become an integral part of my day.
These are just a smattering of my daily sketches - both from my daily books at home, and those I fill up when traveling.
