This is a group of books about shelter. When I was making these books I was thinking about what it means to find shelter, and how shelter is so much more than a roof over one's head. Though at its most fundamental that is what it is (which also made me think a lot about what it means to be without shelter), being sheltered also implies being protected. Thus, this body of work emerged as places I remember where I have felt at home and a sense of safety. In some of the places brought forth in these books, I've created a sense of home for myself for a short period of time, in others they are places I come back to in my mind's eye when I need to find that spaciousness of safety.
They are all unique, one-of-a-kind concertina artist's books made from hand printed monotypes. Sizes listed are fully extended.
