New Sketchbook Flower Drawings

Here are 15 new flower drawings (plus 16 more from Great Cranberry Island) under consideration for reproduction as the 2016 note cards. I’m planning on retiring all of last year’s designs, and creating entirely new sets. I’d love your help choosing the new images. If you’d like to weigh in, leave a comment below, or send me an e-mail with your first 3 and 6 favorites. You can refer to them as (for example): “top row, middle; 2nd row, left” or if you want to count, start at the top row left as #1, and move left to right, in each row (so the second row left would be #4).

When you’ve decided on the favorite flowers, keep scrolling down, and pick your favorite GCI drawings too. Would you like to see some landscape cards mixed in, or should I stick with flowers? How about a set of flowers in the landscape (albeit somewhat abstracted)?! I know, there are a lot to choose from – but I love getting your input and feedback, so have at it! And, thank you for your help and ongoing support!

Flowers (and landscapes) from Great Cranberry

Again, pick your favorites, and let me know which ones you’d like to see (if any) reproduced as blank note cards. What do you think about mixing it up this year? You can start numbering again left to right, top to bottom – or just tell me first row left third row right. Sorry I didn’t make them “zoomable”, but you get the idea. I’m looking for what your top 6 picks are!

  2. Hi Jess –
I have been thinking of you so much recently . . . glad to have this excuse to be in touch! So . . . here are my picks . .for the flowers, I like: 1,6,7,9,10,15 (sorry . . .I can’t decide top 3 or next 3). I will definitely buy some. I tend to like the straight flowers rather than the flower/landscape, but I think that in terms of marketability, there should be an option for the landscapes as well.
Can’t wait to catch up soon . . xoxo

Yes, we want to purchase some. Favorite flowers: first row, right; third row, right.
Landscapes: Second Row, left; fourth row, left. I would like to buy some note cards with landscapes.
    Thanks, this is fun!

    Hi Jessyca,
    I would choose Numbers 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 15.
I like many of the others too, but those are probably my favorites.
Nice to be able to see your work!

    From Cranberry: 2, 9, 1

  8. Andrea Roth Kimmich says:

    Flowers: 2, 12, 15, if only 3!
(funny is i found myself gravitating to those in vases initially – doesn’t really fit my personality, as i know it, but interesting.)

    Cranberry Island, 2, 3, 12, 15.

Thanks for the opportunity to vote! (much more fun than the elections ahead!)

    Thanks for sharing!

  10. Nina Jerome says:

    Hey Jessyca,

    5,10,15 then 12, 3, 9 for flower cards

    Landscapes: 2,12,5

Thank you for letting me be a part of this, and can’t wait to see them!

  12. Flowers:

    9, 13, 2

    Great work1

  13. Sally says:

    Beautiful, Jessyca!

    Flowers – 9, 10, 11,12,15

    Landscape – 2***,3***,5,8,14

  14. Kit says:

    Florals: 11, 1, 9; 3, 15 … Having a hard time picking a 6th – maybe 4, although it doesn’t seem to quite fit with the others.

    Landscapes: 2, 9, 3, 6, 7, 11

They’re beautiful, Jessyca. I made some experimental cards this summer using the occasional deep sales at the three different online photo services I use. Sold a few at Art in the Park, and will bring to the holiday sale, but also pretty useful for personal use for various occasions, with a little personal calligraphy/note.

  15. Judy LaBrasca says:

    Hi, very nice! Flowers: 4, 8, 9, 14
    landscape: 2, 5, 3, 4, 6
